The Shabby Tea Room #231 "Let's Have Tea"

Hello everyone,
I couldn't have possibly passed on this super cute challenge. Here is the inspiration photo:

This this is what I made in response:

I used Cricut Damask Decor Cartridge to cut out Teapot and Teacup image. I used three different shades of pink paper to create this image, and after everything was put together, I covered it with a layer of gesso, which gave it that shabby vintage look. :) I learned that from Aneta at artisant2.blogspot.com ( I have to give credit, when it's due )

I created 3 layers on this card and mounted two of them with foam adhesive for extra dimension. Two bottom layers are vintage damask print black and white/beige and the top one is soft pink/brown vintage Parisian script print. I used Baby's Breath as embellishment.

The bow is made with two shades of pink seam binding. I wrapped the darker pink around the top layer and tied it into triple bow. Then I added double bow made with light pink seam binding ribbon. I decorated the bow with string of pearls and a handmade pink flower.

I hope you enjoyed this post.
Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by...
