12 Tags of 2015 March Tag

Hello everyone,

Just a quick post of my take on this month's tag:


I followed the instructions with the exception of stencil choice and embellishments used. Also, the butterfly is actually a black card stock cutout that I heat embossed with clear embossing powder, glued onto the tag and then I glued another butterfly ontop of it before applying texture past to get that same effect like in Tim's tag...



The tag is quite shimmery...of course it is not showing as much in the photo...


I like how tissue tape shows through the distress paint...

    Well I am just LOVING your version Samra!! Sorry Tim, found my favourite! Love the butterfly you used and the tissue tape was such a brilliant idea (gotta get me some of that stuff)!! An amazing version full of Samra shabbiness!! see you on the dance floor, hugs :)

      Hahaha!!! Yeah Tim, take that!! Thank you my dear friend, I am glad you like my version of Tim's tag. It took several tries, it was not as much fun, I wasted alot of time and materials, but I did it. I committed and can't stop now, have to make every one this year...

    What an outstanding effect you've created with the background of dots and the dark elements nested to the right. This looks so pulled together and I admire that you cut out a butterfly to use. It fits perfectly.
