City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #262 Inky-nes"S"

Hello everyone,

It is time for a new challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog and our host is Ros who would like to see project with one or more of these techniques:
Smooching
Stenciling
Splattering
Sponging

To give some inspiration she chose this photo:

I used stenciling, splattering and sponging in my creation:


I used a piece of cardboard covered with scrunched up tissue paper as my base. I covered everything with gesso and then applied texture paste through bricked stencil. Once that was dry, I sponged multiple colors of distress paint all over the card and splattered some white paint in a bottom corner.


I added bunch of different embellishments and made it look like a modern canvas.


All the flowers were handmade...

    I just love this and have started to use your description to try and make one similar...if that's okay with you. But a question do I need to let the gesso dry first before applying the texture past.xx {aNNie My Personal Blog}

    Samra, I love your composition on this bright, fun card! As always, your flowers are wonderfully perfect and shabby, which are really set off by the bright, splattered brick! Love the contrast and love the entire card! Well done, again! Big hugs!
