Abandoned Coral Butterfly Card

Hello everyone,
Just a quick post of my latest creation:

I created my own canvas using a piece of cardboard...I covered it with scrunched up tissue paper, then applied texture paste through Tim Holtz Bricked Stencil and when all was dry I covered it with gesso. Then I applied Abandoned Coral Distress Ink to raised brick parts and edges of my "canvas" and then applied some more gesso to dull down the bright color since I did not want it to take away the attention from the big butterfly...

I cut out two butterflies and heat embossed them using white embossing powder and Tim Holtz script stamp. Then I dabbed Abandoned Coral Distress Ink over the entire butterfly and added some extra ink to the edges... I created it's body with a clock handle and a metal clock gear.

I used the same ink to die seam binding ribbon to create the shabby bow. Bow was embellished with Tim Holtz Typed Token and the sentiment is a Tim Holtz Word Band.

I am entering this card into following challenges:

A Vintage Journey Spring Colors

Just Us Girls #292 Embossing

The Mixed Media Card Challenge #11 Wings

Shopping Our Stash #200 Big, Bold & Beautiful
