City Crafter Challeng Blog Week #261 Focus on Flower(s)

Hello everyone,

it is time for a brand new challenge over at City Crafter Challenge Blog
Our host is Kirsty and she wants to see a project that has focus on flowers or a flower. To help you with inspiration, she chose this photo:

And here is what I created:

As you can tell, I was very inspired by this photo :)

Since I did not have any giant yellow buttons or pearls I decided to use hot glue and glitter to create centers of the flowers. I just put some hot glue in the center and immediately sprinkled it with yellow glitter and voila, there was my flower center :)

For the background I used a piece of green cardstock, added damask stencil texture paste, when it was dry I painted it with Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn Distress Paints. I added some leaf branch diecuts colored with distress inks.

Some of the flowers were mounted on foam adhesive to give some extra dimension...

Guest designer this week is Jenelle, please stop by her beautiful blog to check out her amazing work!
Also please stop by my teammies blogs and check out what they made for this challenge :) I hope you can join our challenge this week!

I hope you enjoyed this post...
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...

    1. Thank you Julie :) Had to be creative with those centers, since I did not have any sort of embellishments ready to be placed in the center of the flowers. Worked out pretty good I think :)
