Vintage Christmas Card

Hello everyone,

I made this card for a very dear friend. I hope that she will like it.

Here is my card:



I made this card using a free printable paper from Far Far Hill, love that website, it has so many great designs. I distressed the edges of the paper heavily, since I wanted to create quite a shabby card. :)
I used white embroidered ribbon to create that ruffle strip on the side and some white gauze underneath the oval and flowers to add extra vintage look.


The young lady image is by Janets Printables, however I chose to print it in grey scale instead of color. The image was printed on super heavy cardstock. I used a Spellbinders die cut to create this oval.
All the flowers were hand made by me and then coated with sparkle spray.


The sentiment was created on my PC using 1942 Report font.

    Oh boy, I just let out a wonderful sigh! It's just so nice to be in shabby chic land with this gorgeous creation. I feel like I just stepped off a cold metal alien spaceship into a field of flowers on a warm sunny day! What a stunning piece of work! Your flowers are sublime and the arrangement is perfect! Love the lace and the cheesecloth! You chose such a wonderful image and background paper, the entire card is just so yummy! Well done my wonderfully crafty friend!     Wow! I love the delicate, frosty look of your card! I LOVE using the roses in a winetr card (great flowers, by the way). Generally the card looks amazing!
