Just a quick post of a card I just made:
Even though blue is my favorite color, I decided to go with pink tones for this card...maybe I make it in blue too later :)
Some of you might remember similar design I did in December: Life is a Journey Card. That card seems to be a big hit on Pinterest :)
I used a piece of pink cardstock for the first layer, distressed edges and then layered another piece of cardstock with brick texture created with texture paste and my new fabulous stencil designed by Mona Pendleton for My Favorite Things. Since the cardstock was just too bright pink I covered it with layer of gesso to create more subtle shade of pink.
The bicycles are Cheery Lynn Vintage Bicycle die cuts.
All the flowers are hand made and the banner was used to display the sentiment that was heat embossed in white. I added a little frame made from crafters clay and inked with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.
I would like to enter this card into following challenges:
Evolution Scrap "Have you got a bicycle?"
Frilly and Funkie "Monochromatic" Challenge
Scraps & Pieces Emporium Challenge Blog "Real Friends"
ScrapyLand Challenge #19 "Anything Goes"
Tea with Cinnamon Challenge "Monochromatic"
Wednesday's Creative Inspirations Challenge "For a Friend"
I hope you enjoyed this post...
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by...
