Hello everyone,
Here is my latest creation:
I used a portrait from Tim Holtz cardstock stash and treated it with clear crackle paint, then attached it to distressed piece of cardstock. Then I cut out a frame and painted it with black crackle paint. Once that layer was dry I randomly applied Rusty Hinge and Tarnished Brass Distress Paint. I dabbed Weathered Wood Distress Stain on the portrait to give it even more aged look.
The clock face was cut out from Tim Holtz Lost and Found cardstock stash and I stamped a chandelier on it. I added a vintage metal watch, chit chat stickers, clock gears and industrial frame corner stickers to finish this project...
One more look at the finished card...
I am entering this card into following challenges:
A Vintage Journey Tic Tac Toe (I used metal embellishment, ephemera clock face, weathered wood stain and assorted paints by Tim Holtz)
Our Creative Corner Tic Tac Toe (I used metal, stamps and crackle paint)
and
Try it on Tuesday Add a Photo
I hope you enjoyed this post...
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...
Samra

I avoid masculine cards like the plague Samra so this to me is even all the more brilliant and accomplished. Stunning vintage tones and I love all the wonderful details, textures and elements. FANTASTIC!! Nicola x
ReplyDeleteNicola, I am not a big fan of making masculine cards either! I usually do the same thing you do, run for my life! The only reason I ended up making this one is because I could not find a nice portrait of a woman on hand so I chose to make a card with the portrait you see, bunch of guys, the league of extraordinary gentlemen. :) I am glad that you like my card :) Thank you for stopping by :)
DeleteTOTALLY thought this was a real frame, and not a card! Phenomenal job distressing everything. Especially like the clock in lower left corner...it has a chandelier on it!
