Hello everyone,
It is time for a brand new challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog and Kirsty is our host this week.
She would like to see alot of YELLOW in our projects and she chose this inspiration photo:
And here is what I made:
I went with a bee theme as you can see...
I created the background using a piece of cardboard covered with scrunched up tissue paper and layer of texture paste applied through a honeycomb stencil...I used wild honey and spiced marmalade distress ink to get to this rich yellow color...
The bee is an Art Nouveau Cricut cutout decorated with some glitter and rhinestones. The seam binding ribbon was hand died with distress inks and the sentiment was computer generated...
One more peek at the card...
Our guest designer this week is Margaretha, please stop by her fabulous blog and check out her work and check out what my team mates created for this week's challenge...I hope you'll join in the fun.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...

DeleteBoo! It's me again...just back to stalk your page. :) Thank you for the very sweet comment you left on my blog and the answer to your question about the ruler strip is, that's just plain white cardstock that I cut on my silhouette machine. I distress inked and gooped and shimmered n' what not to it; which is why it was so easy to make pliable. :) Thanks again and you have a good day!! HUGS
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisa :)
