Hello everyone,
This is my first attempt of making a round card and I did it for this week"s The Shabby Tea Room Challenge. Here is the inspiration photo from the challenge:
And this is my response:
I used Cricut Elegant Edges Cartridge to create this round card. I basically "welded" two scalloped circles and then cut them.
I used large pearls to decorate the edges of the card.
Since one of the challenge requirements were use of pink and green, I created my sentiment with those colors and cut it in the shape of banner. I love banners! :)
I added some white and pink handmade roses, seam binding white and pink ribbon and embellished the bow with pearly heart.
I had fun (as I always do) making this card and I hope you enjoyed this post.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...

The Shabby Tea Room Challenge Week #227 "Fun In The Sun"
Hello everyone,
I am entering this super fun challenge with this card:
I used several layers of patterned cardstock, layered in random pattern. Yellow cardstock was distressed with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink. The edge of the bottom cardstock was embellished with strings of itsy bitsy pearls.
The bikini is a Cricut Nifty Fifties Cartridge cutout. I used tiny clothes pins to attach the pieces to baker's twine and foam adhesive to give some dimension to the card...
I used velum to create drink bottle which is Cricut Create a Criter Cartridge cutout.
I used blue and red gingham pattern ribbons and baker's twine to create this double bow and I decorated it with a jumbo pearl.
Sentiment is PC printout and font is called Joy like Sunshine through my windowpane

Vintage Shabby Chic Paris Card
Hello everyone,
Here is my Paris inspired card that I have entered into Vintage Cafe Card Challenge "French Charm" and Scrap Club Kiev Challenge Quest # 57 "Sketchy":
I used several layers of patterned cardstock and distressed the edges of each paper. I used picture frame I bought in a scrapbooking store and removed the backing. Frame was originally silver color but I spray painted it white.
I added seam binding ribbon bow and attached string of pearls to it. I made a trail of handmade flowers along the border of the Eiffel Tower and added some more pearls on the string to that arrangement as well...
Eiffel Tower is a Cricut Every Day Pop Up Cards cartridge cutout with two layers of polka dot paper from Inspired by Stamping
Here are the inspiration photos from both challenges:
I hope you enjoyed viewing this post.

Mojo Monday Challenge #353
Hello everyone,
I am entering Mojo Monday Challenge #353 with this card:
I used Recollections pearl finish cardstock and printed different type of digital scrapbook paper designs on it. I love that pearly look of the card, gives it such tenderness....
I attached layers of the card with adhesive foam to add extra dimension to it.
I used pearl embellishments on the stroller and pretty much where ever I could to give it more of an elegant look.
Stroller is a Cricut Everyday Popup Cards Cartridge cutout embellished with large and medium size white pearls.
I made this double bow with pink seam binding ribbon and added handmade flower with pearl to the center since sketch required the flower. :)
Border was made out of velum and decorated with tiny pearls.
Here is the Challege Sketch:
I am very happy how this card turned out and I hope you like it too :)
This card can be purchased here

The Shabby Tea Room Challenge Week #226 "Polka Dot Love"
Good Morning everyone,
Of course I could not pass this week's challenge, it is just too cute! Here is the inspiration photo from the challenge:
And this is my response:
This is a Tea Party invitation I made for my friend's daughter's party.
I used Cricut Damask Decor Cartridge to cut out the Tea Pot card shape and decorated it with lace ribbon, polka dot cardstock and heart pattern cardstock. I added a few handmade flowers embellished with little pearls and added jumbo pearl on top of the tea pot.
I made a tag and tucked in the twine into the pot so it looks like it is a tea bag tag. I used MS Word to type invitation info. The font I used has little hearts all over and is called Look With your Heart.
This was such a fun project and I think it fits this challenge just right. :)
I hope you enjoyed viewing this post.

Seashore Card
Hello everyone,
I decided to enter the challenge at Scrapclub Kiev Quest#56 with this card:
I used several layers of patterned paper from "Beach House" stack by Paper Studio. All the layers were distressed.
Pictures of the sea creatures are also from that same stack and edges are also distressed.
I used a very thick cotton rope to create nautical square knot. The rope created a really nice border and gave this card extra dimension.
I used gauze to create impression of fishing net. I added some seashells that I had in a bowl in my living room. :) I sprinkled the card with multicolor pearls and added a helm Cricut cutout which gave a nice contrast to the soft colors in the rest of the card.
Here is the inspiration photo from the Challenge:
This was my first nautical card project and I am happy how it turned out...
I hope you enjoyed this post.

House of Cards Challenge "Add a Bow"
Hello everyone,
I decided to enter this challenge with a card I just made for a friend's niece.
This young lady is a TV News producer, so I incorporated that theme into her birthday card with a "News Flash" sign, camera and film tape.
I also made a Keepsake Box for the card to complement it's design and to protect it. Majority of the cards I make come with a keepsake box.
I made a quadruple bow with seam binding ribbon and red scrapbooking twine. I decorated the bow with a jumbo crystal to give it some extra elegance.
Happy Birthday tag is attached to the bow with scrapbooking twine and it sits loosely in the front of the card....
I have wanted to make a retro look card for quite some time and I am glad that I used this opportunity to do so...
I am very much pleased how this card turned out and I hope that recipient will like it too.
Happy 4th of July, have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by...

The Shabby Tea Room Challenge #225 "Sketch This"
Hello everyone,
The Shabby Tea Room presented us with this sketch as a challenge for this week:
And this is what I have come up with as a response:
I created this card using bunch of leftover papers from other projects, not sure what stacks they came from, but they seem to go well together. :)
Sentiment is again home made with MS Word on my computer (I sure could use couple of stamps, huh?)
The rose cameo is Martha Stewart clay mold and the bow was made with seam binding ribbon. Adhesive buttons came from "Spare Parts" vintage buttons collection.
I hope you enjoyed viewing this post...
