Hello, everyone,
I am super excited to announce my Guest Designing spot at Special Day Cards Challenge Blog.
If you are not familiar with this amazing challenge blog, I hope you'll take this opportunity to check it out and join the fun.
I am their guest at challenge with theme Birthday Cards with Strips.
Here is my contribution to their DT inspiration:
I printed the sentiment on a piece of heavy white cardstock; then stamped the swirl stamps with embossing ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I used Faded Jeans DI to give the cardstock random patches of lighter and darker blue color.
Then I layered some while lace strips on the base of the card, tore up the cardstock with sentiment into strips and layered them with additional lace and flowers randomly sprinkled here and there.
Of course, I could not resist to add a shabby bow. I made this card for my dear blog friend Branka. By the time this post is published, this card will already be delivered to her...Well, once again, Happy Birthday Branka!!!
So, I hope you enjoyed this post and would love to see you join the amazing Special Day Cards challenge
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...

Guest Designer at Frilly & Funkie for "Oh The Places You'll Go! Challenge
Hello everyone,
I have an honor and privilege to announce my Guest Designer spot at Frilly and Funkie for their current challenge: "Oh the Places You'll Go!" I earned this opportunity by winning their Boy oh Boy challenge with this card.
Host of the challenge is Zoe and description of the challenge follows:
Create a vintage or shabby chic project with travel as the central theme.
Think planes, trains, automobiles, ships, maps, globes.
Well, I thought...planes, trains, automobiles...why not hot air balloon???
And noow, here is what I created as an inspiration contribution:
I started off with vellum doily die cuts, decorated them with tiny rhinestones and added a strip of lace ribbon on one side. Then I layered up various distress patterned cardstock pieces from my stash...and added some more lace ribbon. You can never have too much lace and ribbon!
The hot air balloon was cut out of vintage script cardstock to give it extra shabby vintage feel...I added some cotton rope and bling and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
I painted the metal filigree pieces with Picket Fence Distress Paint to give them more of a shabby chic look.
The sentiment is Chitchat stickers from TH idea-ology.
I hope you will get inspired to join the Frilly and Funkie challenge now even more with this card of mine....

Scrapy Land Challenge #41 Anything Goes
Hello everyone,
It is time for a brand new challenge at Scrapy Land Blog and it is everyone's favorite ANYTHING GOES using dies that Scrapy Land Store carries :)
Here is my card that will hopefully inspire you to join in the fun:
I stacked up three pieces of cardstock with distressed edges to give the card extra rich and layered look.
I used Memory Box Catalina Wreath Die as my base for the Impression Obsession Thank You Die.
The floral arrangement was created using following dies:
Spellbinders Rose Creation Die and Spellbinders D-Lites Blooms Three with a pearl set in the center.
Memory Box Chloe Stem Die
Impression Obsession Branch Die.
A few pearls sprinkled here and there and, of course, a shabby bow, just like a cherry on the top :) A hand died turquoise and white seam binding ribbon tied together in a rich bow...
Please, also, take a look at what my dear team mates have created for this challenge inspiration and then take your turn for a chance to win $15 gift card to Scrapy Land Store.
I hope you enjoyed this post...

Mother's Day Card
Hello everyone,
here I am with a short post of a quick and simple Mother's Days card. Keep in mind, it is only quick and simple if you are working with scraps and don't need to wait for texture paste to dry...
For the base, I used a turquoise cardstock with previously applied texture paste through damask stencil... I tucked in Baby's Breath underneath...added some pink bling on the bottom...
I ruffled up some embroidered ribbon in the center and added the computer generated sentiment cut into a banner...
The antique medallion is a Prima Vintage Art Decor mould painted with white acrylic paint resting ontop of white shabby bow...and that's it, nice and simple :)
I would like to enter this card into following fabulous challenges:
Emerald Creek Dares "It's a Charmed Life" - add charms, bling and other embellishemnts
Crafty Cardmakers and More...#163 Pearls or Gems
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes
I hope you enjoyed this post...
