Hello,
It is time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land Blog. The theme is use Pearls and or Lace and of course dies that Scrapy Land Store carries.
Here is what I made for the challenge inspiration:
The base of my card is burlap patterned paper. I added a Spellbinders Shapeabilites Lonely Hearts die cut, similar to Sue-Wilson-Designs--Striplets-Collection--Rococo to the center and added a piece of lace ribbon on top of it. The lace piece was then topped off with rose ribbon embellished with pearls.
Hand made flowers are Sue Wilson Designs Finishing Touches Camellia Complete petals die. The leaves are Cheery Lynn Flourish 14 die. Happy Birthday is a Sue Wilson Expressions - Scripted Birthday die. The shabby bow was made using crinkle seam binding ribbon and unbleached cheese cloth. I also added a layer of cheese cloth underneath the patterned paper and also added here and there some dried baby's breath flowers.
This fancy tag is Wild Rose Studio Gilded Tag die.
One more look at the finished card...
Please stop by the Scrapy Land Blog to see what my dear team mates created for this project inspiration and join the challenge for the chance to win $15 gift certificate to Scrapy Land Store.

Just a quick post about my latest make:
The sentiment/quote was computer generated, printed on a heavy card stock and die cut using Spellbinders Large Square.
Graduation hat is a Cricut Everyday Pop-up Cards cutout and the hand made flowers are Cricut Flower Shoppe cutouts. The centers of the flowers are made using hot glue and glitter.
The triple loop elegant bow was made using my newest tool that my husband made for me. It is a super fancy shmancy bow maker!!!

Scrapy Land Challenge #65 Anything Goes"
Hello everyone,
It is time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land Blog and the theme is Anything Goes using dies that Scrapy Land Store carries.
Here is what I made for the challenge inspiration:
I used a piece of patterned floral paper as my base.
Sizzix Birdcage die cut was attached so that it creates extra dimension and a look of a real cage shape...The bird, resting on top of the cage is a Cricut "Strait from the Nest" cartridge cutout, cut 3 times and layered offset to give it a little bit more interest...
The flowers were made using Spellbinders Rose Creation die and the leaves are Magnolia Rose Leaf die cuts.
I tucked in a shabby bow and made a box to place the card in as usual :)
I would love for you to stop by Scrapy Land Blog, see what my team mates have made for the challenge inspiration and then join in the fun for a chance to win $15 gift certificate to the Scrapy Land Store.
I hope you enjoyed this post...
