Vintage Style Masculine Graduation Card

Hello everyone,

This is going to be a very quick post, just to show you one of the cards I made today:

This is a card for a graduate of a school for 3D computer graphics for computer games and movies. I went with a camera and TH Lost and Found cardstock that has a movie themed vintage design.

I used a minimal amount of embellishment since I truly think that masculine cards should have that clean look.

I made an envelope for the card from TH Lost and Found 12 x 12 sheet and added a wax seal just to give it some extra vintage look. The seal is made with a pirate coin we got in San Diego "Pirate Store" while on vacation several years ago :) I used Vintage Photo distress ink on all pieces added to this card for some extra vintage feel...

I would love to enter this card into following challenges:

Frilly and Funkie "Boy oh Boy"

Paperminutes #429 Card for a Man

Emerald Creek Dares "Anything Goes"

I hope you enjoyed this post...
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...

  12. The card and the envelope are just perfect! I am sure it will be treasured! I am glad you didn't use too many embellishments as they would only have interfered with the great composition of layered elements! The seal is the perfect addition! Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous card with us at Emerald Creek Dares!

  14. Boy, Oh, Boy! is right! Samra, it is amazing the way you can design beautiful cards for either men or women equally as well! Great design, perfect for someone graduating from a school majoring in 3D computer graphics for games and movies! They are going to treasure this! On a side note, I spent part of my days this past week watching them film a movie in my neighborhood. Interesting stuff, but a little slow; like watching the grass grow. Big hugs!
