Just Another Butterfly Card...
Hello everyone,
I had an idea of this card in my head as I woke up this morning, and it would have bugged me all day long, if I hadn't made it. So I tweaked my timeline for today a bit and made it!
This card has couple layers of stenciled and heat embossed cardstock with distressed edges, some dried baby's breath flowers, four layers of inked and heat embossed butterflies and some hand made flowers from my stash...
You can see all the layers of the butterfly...
Flowers tucked in here and there...
I wish I knew how to take better pictures, so that you can actually see the heat embossed flourish on the butterfly's wing...
I would like to enter this card into following challenges:
Studio 75 Challenge #7 "Butterfly"
Let's Craft and Create Challenge #103 Butterflies or Birds
Frilly and Funkie Things with Wings

Gold and Turquoise Steampunk Card
Hello everyone,
second post of the day is for the card I just put together:
I used a piece of white cardstock and painted it with turquoise paint, then applied some texture paste through a harlequin stencil and then dabbed darker turquoise paint and metallic gold paint.
I used a Chipboard steampunk cameo piece and different die cuts from Cheery Lynn and Memory Box Clock Gear dies; painted them all with metallic gold paint and embellished some with gold and blue crystals.
One more look at the finished card...
I would like to enter this card into following challenges:
A Sprinkle of Imagination Monthly Challenge
Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge #195 Anything Goes
Sandee & amelie's Steampunk Challenges Summer Super Special Challenge Tic Tac Toe (I chose Stencil, Metal Paint and Three of the Samra-3 blue crystals)
Scrapy Land Challenge #22 Vintage/Steampunk
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge No Ordinary Paper (I created my own background with paints and texture paste)
I hope you enjoyed this post...

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #272 Make a Masculine Birthday Card
Hello everyone,
It is time for a new challenge over at City Crafter Challenge Blog and I am hosting this week with a theme Make a Masculine Birthday Card. This is my last appearance as part of the DT for City Crafter Challenge Blog. I would like to thank Kirsty for this amazing opportunity and to all that showed tremendous support and kindness.
Now back to the challenge...
Kirsty chose this photo for the inspiration:
I chose this theme to celebrate my son's birthday and made this card for him:
I created the background with a black cardstock painted with Brushed Pewter Distress Paint, then embossed with industrial embossing folder and slightly sanded it to reveal some black color of the cardstock. I printed the sentiment on my computer. Thank you Cec for the name of the font :) Love it!!!
I cut the shoes with my Cricut and added the shoe lace bow on the top...
Just one more look at the card...
Our guest this week is Dana. I hope you'll join the challenge...
I hope you enjoyed this post...

Shabby Chic Birthday Card in Turquoise and Beige...
Hello everyone,
Just a super quick post of my latest creation:
I made this card based on the Cardabilities #127 sketch, color palette from Paper Ladybirds Task #52 and layered and raised it up for Creative Craft Cottage and Frilly and Funkie Challenges :)
Lots of foam adhesive and lots of layers were used to create this shabby card...as you can see lots of distressing going on as well...
Shabby bow was hand died with Peacock Feathers DI and the same ink was used to color the handmade rolled flowers...
Even the banner was layered and raised up...
I am entering this card into challenges I previously mentioned, but I'll list them again:
Cardabilities #127 with this gorgeous sketch:
Creative Craft Cottage Challenge "Layer it Up"
