City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #251 Washi Tape

Hello everyone,

It is time for another fun challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog with Stella as our host.
Stella would like to see washi tape used on a project. I sure do hope you will join the fun. :)

Here is what I created as an inspiration:

In this card I used Tim Holtz Tissue Tape which is a from of washi tape. The harlequin border, hand and ruler details are all tissue tape.

Here is the closeup of tissue tape and hand died shabby bow...

You can see how dimensional this card is...

Here is a closeup of the handmade flowers inked with Black Soot Distress Ink and embellished with dark rhinestones and bling flourishes...

I am looking forward to see what you have come up with for this challenge and please stop by my teammies' blogs to check out their fantastic creations.

    1. Awwww, that you so much my dear Pamellia :) You always bring loads of sunshine to my life :) I am so glad that you like my card, I knew that the rest of my team would go for fun and bright colors, but since I am a frugal crafter and don't use washi tape, when I went to buy some, I figured to get something that i could actually use later on, so of course I went with TH tape :) Anyways, it is almost time to get ready for work, till next time have a wonderful day :)

  3. What a gorgeous card. I love the flowers and dyed seam binding but that light bulb sentiment is the bomb. The striped background sets all your wonderful embellishments off beautifully.

  14. I have some washi tape in my stash, but I have zero idea how to use it, Of course in the store the picture was completely different and I had tons of ideas in my head about what will I do with the washi. So of course I had to buy it. And now it's just waiting for me to actually play with it. *sigh* That being said, I just love how you used washi on your card. It looks great; or I should better say - the WHOLE card looks great.
    Hugs! xx

    1. Thank you Maja :) I wouldn't have bought the washi tape if it wasn't required for this challenge that I am a part of DT....I did not want to waste money buying bright modern colors cause I knew I wouldn't have used it after that...so I went with TH tissue tape, cause I could put it to good use afterwards as well :) Thank you for stopping by my friend :)
