Hello everyone,
I created a Christmas card that I shall be entering into these two challenges:
City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 229 ~ Diagonals
and
Cardabilities Sketch #107
This is my response:
I used several layers of cardstock and mounted each onto base with foam adhesive. I slightly distressed edges of each piece of cardstock.
This is the first time that I am using texture paste, which by the way is home made :) After about 9 attempts to get the paste thickness right and create stencil image, I finally did it! :) I am still learning alot along the way...
The deer is a Cricut A Quilted Christmas Cartridge cutout.
I created this sentiment on my PC and printed it on white cardstock.
I used seam binding ribbon to create this elegant bow and embellished it with a jumbo crystal.
One more look at a card....
I hope you enjoyed this post.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...
Samra
Wow Samra, this is so fantastic!! Congratulations on using texture paste, yay!! It's so fun to play with isn't it! Your colour palette is so stunning, what a beautiful reindeer too! I love the stripes with the octagons, it should be a clash of geometrics, but you have somehow made it elegant! I love your bling and also the layer of crinoline...nice touch! What a gorgeous gorgeous Christmas card! I swoon! big hugs :)
