Hello everyone,
Just a quick post of a card I made a while ago for a Science Girl's Sweet 16, which perfectly fits the theme of a challenge over at City Crafter Challenge Blog
I used Periodic Table of Elements to spell out her name. She had a kick out of that! Since it was a card for a girl, I had to add some pearls, so I used the pearls as my protons, neutrons and electrons in atom structure.
One more look at the card...
I am also going to join in on fun at CASology challege themed Science
I hope you enjoyed this post...
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...

Friendship Card
Hello everyone,
Just a quick post of my latest creation:
I created a brick background using texture paste...
I created a Friends Welcome sign using Cheery Lynn Paris Signs die. The rose vine is made with Sizzix branch die cuts and hand made roses painted with Mustard Seed Distress Ink...
The blue door was made from chipboard pieces covered with gesso, then Salty Ocean Distress Ink and Deco Art One Step Crackle...
I painted little resin bicycle with Mustard Seed Distress Ink...
One more look at the finished card...
I would like to enter this card into following challenges:

Purple Wedding Dress Card
Hello everyone,
Just a quick post of my latest creation:
I used a piece of black card stock as my base, added pieces of chipboard treated with grey paint, one step crackle by Deco Art and white gesso.
The sentiment is computer generated and cut out using the newest addition my my dies: Spellbinders Victorian Medallion 2. I added a few crystal gems just to add some sparkle to this rustic design...
The bodice of the dress was embossed with Spellbinders Shapeabilities Sparkle and then inked with Dusty Concord and Seedless Grapes DI.
It took several yards of hand died seam binding ribbon to create the dress skirt. I added two fabric flowers just because :)
I would like to enter this card into following challenges:
Bumaga-Maraka Challenge #1 What the mist hides with this mesmerizing mood board:
Scrap Africa Challenge #59 with this gorgeous mood board:
Card & Scrap Udfordring #103 Use Dies
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Love this Technique (Inking and Distressing)
ABC Challenge R is for Recipe I chose Flowers, Dies, Purple
I hope you enjoyed this post...
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by and taking time to leave me a sweet comment. I truly and greatly appreciate you...

Anything But Cute Challenge #5 Mixed Media Makeover
Hello everyone,
It is time for a brand new challenge at Anything But Cute and Nikki is our hostess this month. She would like to see an old project that did not quite turn out the way you hoped for and revamp it and make it better. For this challenge we'll need to see before and after picture, so that we know what you started off with...
I usually don't save any of my mistake projects, but I saved this one because I wanted to salvage the embroidered ribbon and pearl swirls...So here is my "What was I thinking???" project. (Never try to use as little ribbon as possible, if you want to make a nice dress for a card!)
And this is my make-over card:
I was able to remove the ribbon and everything else from the card without damaging the paper...I covered everything with very thick layer of gesso and while it was still wet I sprinkled some distress glitter...
I added many more layers of different ribbons and lace to create the dress and the shabby bow that was originally kinda on top of the card is now embellishing the wedding dress...
I added some liquid pearls and new sentiment...
I hope you'll join our challenge at Anything But Cute and have fun!
I hope you enjoyed this post...
