it is time for a brand new challenge over at
City Crafter Challenge Blog
Our host is
Kirsty and she wants to see a project that has focus on flowers or a flower. To help you with inspiration, she chose this photo:
And here is what I created:
As you can tell, I was very inspired by this photo :)
Since I did not have any giant yellow buttons or pearls I decided to use hot glue and glitter to create centers of the flowers. I just put some hot glue in the center and immediately sprinkled it with yellow glitter and voila, there was my flower center :)
For the background I used a piece of green cardstock, added damask stencil texture paste, when it was dry I painted it with Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn Distress Paints. I added some leaf branch diecuts colored with distress inks.
Some of the flowers were mounted on foam adhesive to give some extra dimension...
