The shabby bow is crinkled seam binding ribbon embellished with a vintage flower medallion.

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall....

Hello everyone,

Just a quick post of my newest card inspired by the dark side of the Snow White fairy tale...I made it for a dear friend of mine Doreena that loves Halloween as much as I do and then some :)

I used mostly Tim Holtz products to create this card, from bricked stencil to distress and crackle paints and inks. I used different inking techniques to achieve that worn and antique look of the brick wall background...

I used bricked stencil to ink the corners of the inside panel of this card...

I added a piece of red died cheesecloth, and the banner that was created by burning the edges to give it that antique look. The banner was inked with Vintage Photo, Barn Door and Black Soot distress inks.

The mirror was created from several layers of heavy cardstock glued together, embellished with liquid pearls, then painted with Black Soot Crackle Paint, Brushed Pewter Distress Paint and metal sheet distressed with Black Soot and Weathered Wood Distress Paint. I created illusion of cracked mirror with hot glue...

One more look at the finished card...

I am entering this card into following challenges:

A Vintage Journey "Through the Looking Glass"

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "In the Middle" ( my mirror is in the middle of the card )

and
