Good Evening everyone,
I have decided to enter the Shabby Tea Room Challenge since creating Shabby cards is my favorite:)
This is what the Challenge inspiration was:
And this is what I have come up with:
I used Tim Holtz pink distressed card stock for my base layer and patterned paper from "Life of the Beach" paper stack. Balloons are Cricut cutouts decorated with itsy bitsy pearls and tiny purple bow.
Bow is made with seambinding ribbons, decorated with handmade flowers and sprinkles of pearls and flower picks. I simply love making those tiny shabby roses! They give such softness to my cards. :)
I had so much fun making this card, and I hope you had fun viewing this post.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Hello again,
I don't think that anyone has yet invented a word to describe how happy I am to make it to The Shabby Tea Room Tea Time Terrific Top Three!
My Flowers and Balloons card was in a very though competition, since there were so many pretty creations in this challenge.
Thank you The Shabby Tea Room DT for choosing my design to be in the top 3!

Simple Elegance
Good Morning everyone,
I have decided to enter this new creation of mine into 2 challenges: House of Cards and Mojo Monday #346
I utilized the sketch from Mojo Monday and color palette from House of Cards Challenge.
I am not quite sure what collection the patterned cardstock came from, it was again just a left over piece that I had laying around. The silver base cardstock is from Recollections glimmer stack, the pink ribbon is American Crafts Scrapbooking adhesive ribbon. I used Spellbinders Fancy Tags die cut for the base of my "Home Made" sentiment that was cut with Cricut Basics circle pattern. I added decorative pearl in pink and white color to give the card some extra elegant look.
All in all, I am very happy how this card turned out.
Here are the challenges that I entered this card into:
I hope you enjoyed viewing this post of mine and that you are having a fabulous day!
Thanks for stopping by...

House of Cards Challenge
Good Morning everyone,
I decided literately last minute to enter this challenge. (I really linked my post in the last minute of this challenge!)I tried all kinds of color combinations and designs and did not quite like anything I created...and this last minute creation turned out pretty good. At least I think so...
Here is what the challenge theme was:
And this is what I have come up with:
I used some patterned papers from DCWV Timeless Textures Stack, and as you can see plethora of different embellishments:
wooden cage with bird embellishment painted white, white metal key embellishment, lacy pearl ribbon, pearl swirls, individual pearl embellishments and handmade flowers and foliage.
I enjoy making these little flowers, they add such softness to a card.
I hope you enjoyed viewing this post at least as half as much I enjoyed making this card.
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by...

Mojo Monday Card Challenge Sketch #344
Hello everyone,
Boomtown Rats sang "I don't like Mondays", but little did they know that one day there would be such thing as Mojo Monday!
Here is the latest and greatest Mojo Monday Sketch #344
And this is my little card as a response:
It has been a while since I made a Baby Card, so I decided to put together one for this card challenge occasion.
I used 110lb white cardstock from Recollections for my base, as well as brown and cream Recollections cardstock for two base layers.
Then I embossed a piece of dark yellow cardstock with Darice Clouds embossing folder.
Scalloped square is a Cricut Elegant Edges Cartridge cutout layered with patterned cardstock.
Tag is a Cricut Tag, Bags, Boxes and More Cartridge cutout, decorated with an itsy bitsy satin bow and onesie is a Cricut Craftroom Basics cutout.
The "Welcome Little One" banner was so much fun to make! I used MS Word to create the sign and the font is called "Talk to the Man".
Both scalloped square and tag are attached to the base with foam adhesive to give the card some dimension...
I did not want to go with traditional pink or blue card, and am very pleased with how this color combination turned out. I hope you enjoyed viewing this post.
Have a nice week and thanks for stopping by...

Mojo Monday Card Sketch Challenge #343
Good Morning everyone,
I managed to find some spare time in my busy weekend to enter yet another card challenge...
Here is the Challenge Sketch:
And here is what I have come up with:
I love the idea of tall and skinny cards. There is not much room to play with, and you still need to make sure all the elements are visible and they pop up nicely.
I used pretty much scraps I had from other projects and majority are from free digital scrapbook paper files that I printed onto white cardstock.
The medallion was made with Martha Stewart Clay Mold and attached to seam binding black ribbon.
I typed sentiment with MS Word program and printed onto pink cardstock.
Card making is expensive enough hobby by itself, I can't afford stamps, so I make do with what I have-a computer and a printer. Seems to have worked just fine for me...
I like the way this card turned out and I hope it gives inspiration and joy to others...
That is all for now.
Thank you for stopping by and have a marvelous day!

Vintage Cafe Card Challenge Sketch #15
Hello everyone and welcome
Another day, another challenge...
I could not pass this beautiful sketch challenge from Vintage Cafe
And here is my response to this challenge:
I used two layers of vintage pattern papers and distressed the edges.
The dress form is a Cricut Nifty Fifties Cartridge cutout inked with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar Distress Ink. Dress was made of lace ribbon. I added a few handmade flowers around the clay mold Martha Stewart frame, pearl swirl embellishment, spool, sewing machine and scissors charms and measuring tape ribbon.
The chandelier is a Cricut Sophisticated Cartridge cutout decorated with small pearls.
As usual, I enjoyed creating this card and am very happy with end result. :)
