Magic Under the Sea Card

Hi there!!!

This is my second post of the day! You can check out my Summer wreath card here.
Now onto my Sea Magic Card:

I used Lemoncraft DayDream collection paper for my background.

Two tone shabby crinkle bow is embellished with hand made hibiscus flowers. I used Sue Wilson Tropical Hibiscus die, various inks and prills to make the flowers.

The seahorse and jellyfish are Cricut Art Nouveau cartridge cutouts.

I really like how the liquid pearls turned out :)

Scrapy Land Challenge #68 "Embossing"

Hello everyone!

It is time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land Blog and this time the theme is Embossing, Heat or Dry while using dies that Scrapy Land Store carries.

And here is my challenge inspiration project:

As you can see, layer upon layer of patterned papers, die cuts and embellishments complete this design. The first cut out piece was heat embossed using Stampabilities Faded Text Background stamp, heat embossed with White Embossing powder.
Then I created shadow effect with 3 diecuts of Spellbinders Card Creator Tranquil Moments and I embossed those pieces.

I added Spellbinders Shapeabilities Lonely Hearts die cut that was embossed and inked with blue chalk ink. You could substitute this die cut with Sue Wilson Striplet Lattice Heart die...

The floral arrangement consists of hand made flowers using Sue Wilson Camellia Complete Petals dies, inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Memory Box Grove Branch and hand died two tone shabby bow.

One more look at the finished card...

I would like to invite you to visit Scrapy Land Blog and see what my team mates created for this challenge inspiration and to join our challenge for a chance to win one of two gift certificates to Scrapy Land Store.

I hope you enjoyed this post...

Shabby Chic Baby Carriage Card

Hello,

Just a quick post of my latest make:

For the card base I used Lemoncraft Tiny Miracles collection paper.

The hand made flowers are arranged in a wreath form ontop of Memory Box Catalina Wreath die cut. I had to cut the wreath and spread it out since the baby carriage would not fit in the center of it...

I added shabby chic bows embellished with pearls throughout the wreath and some more ribbon winding around the flowers.

Scrapy Land Challenge #67 Anything Goes

Hello dear visitors and friends!

It is time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land Blog and the theme is Anything Goes using dies that Scrapy Land Store carries. Easy enough, right?

Here is what I made for the challenge inspiration:

I made an elegant Birthday card using Spellbinders Fleur de Lis large squares dies, Spellbinders Nestabilities Opulent Ovals and Divine floral dies for my focal point.

I used some patterned paper and silver tone paper for the base and decorated the corners with the corner die cuts of Cheery Lynn Designs Royal Scandinavian Tag 1.

Hand made rose, made using Spellbinders Rose Creation die on top of two tone elegant bow, completes this design.

One more look at the finished card...
