Shabby Chic Snowflake Card

Hello everyone,

I made a Holiday Season Greeting Card for my parents that live oversees:

As you can see, this is a shabby chic style card with lots of ribbons, snowflakes, glitter, texture and a fancy shaker. :)

The card is quite dimensional as you can see from the side view...

I added sequins on the snowflakes' points and they change color depending on how you turn the card. Pretty cool :) The shaker inspiration for this particular card comes from the gorgeous card made by Mona Pendleton

I am entering this card into following challenges:

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #214 "Glittering Snowflakes"

Crafty Cardmakers and More...#129 "Christmas"

Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog "Vintage Holiday"

Retro Sketches Challenge #144 with this sketch:

and

Try it on Tuesday "Winter Whites"

I hope you enjoyed this post.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by...
Samra

  2. Wowsers Samra! This looks good enough to eat, like a vanilla triple layered cake with buttermilk frosting!! Your shaker window is gorgeous with that fancy frame, and it's so 3d, just incredible! All the luscious lace and ribbon is such a perfect way to showcase your window and those glittery snowflakes! Your parents are going to treasure this forever! Such a beauty my friend, I adore every bit of it! holiday hugs :)

    1. Hi Stella, always good to have you over :) Yes, Stella, you are right, Europe, to be more precise Bosnia. That's where I am from, but I have lived in The USA for 12 years now. I escaped the war in the 90' and had been a refugee for many years in Croation and Hungary, but then I came to The State and don't plan on going anywhere else :)
On another note, you now I love playing at CCCB! It is always a pleasure to join in on all the fun :) Thanks for stopping by :)
