Shabby Chic Love Card

Hello everyone,

Here I am with another shabby and chic creation...

Lately I am hooked on texture paste, so I use it when ever I can... My favorite stencil is Prima Damask stencil.

I painted a couple of fleur de lis spellbinders square diecuts with metallic gold paint, added a vintage clock cutout, rustic damask heart cutout and stacked and tucked them underneath a sheer rose ribbon and the sentiment banner...

I created the sentiment on my PC and printed it on vellum.

The shabby bow and rustic fleur de lis embellishment tucked in with the rest of the embellishments...

Here just one more side shot...

I am entering this card into following challenges:

Cardabilities Sketch #113

Just Add Ink #245 with this stunning inspiration photo, which I used the color palette from:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Anything Goes"

I hope you enjoyed this post.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by....
Samra

  1. Oh boy Samra, you knocked it out of the park again! I really love it when you whip out your texture paste! I'm a huge fan of the Prima Flourish Damask stencil as well, and you have really done it justice here! I am so in love with your soft neutral palette, how dreamy! The Spellbinders squares have never looked so lovely as when painted gold and layered up like this! Love the sheer rose trim too, so elegant and romantic! Actually, there's not a thing here that doesn't deserve praise! I am always so in adoration every time I visit you, my sweet and talented friend! I do hope you have a wonderful weekend! big hugs :)

    1. Awwwww Thank you so very much! It is always nice to see you stopped by! I am glad you like my card :) I had hard time finding this stencil locally, highly recommend it, so if you don't find it locally, I suggest for this one to order it online, worth the money! And for the home made texture paste, just go to our friend Pamellia's blog for the recipe. That is where I got my perfect mixture tips from...Have a nice weekend!

    2. Looks like I'll have to check for this stencil online, because in our stores they don't have it (not that we have all that many craft stores here :S). *sigh* Fingers crossed I'll find it somewhere. :) Oh yes, I know Pamellia has a great recipe for the texture paste. :) I made it the other day - of course I went for the glitter one. lol I love the effect it gives. Enjoy the rest of Sunday!
      Hugs! xx
