Two posts in one day! I am addicted to card making, that is all I can say.
A friend of mine asked me if I could make an elegant purple card for her aunt's birthday, so I did, and decided to share it with the world and enter it into a few challenges. :
Here is what I made:
I used a subtle gold cardstock for my base and added super light purple cardstock for the next layer. The third layer was darlk purle cardstock attached to card with some adhesive foam as well as the forth gold and purple stripe layer. I created the sentiment on my PC and printed it on lighter purple cardstock. I used Spellbinders Fleur de Lis die cut to cut out and emboss it.
I used golden pears to match the striped paper with gold and purple...
I used purple seam binding to create this quadruple bow and embellished it with jumbo golden crystal.
I made a box to complement the design of the card and to protect it...
I am entering this card into following challenges:
Crafty Card Maker And More..#123 Ribbon/Lace and Pearls
The Sisterhood of Crafters Lots of Layers!
Simply Create Too - It's A Special Occasion
Craft Catz - Birthday Celebration
